A proposal for the competition “Public Space in the New American City/Atlanta 1996”. The "ungrounded" nature of the site, the air-rights over a highway under-pass, is used to question the notion of "public space" as a physical location for the gathering of people, thus site=NON-SITE. The Proposal combines ancient and virtual projective techniques using sun light and digital information to project an alternative view of public space in American Cities.
Scope: Competition entry, including drawings, and model.
